An update for the New Year!

So as everyone knows, Tony and I went home for Christmas. We left around 6:30pm on Friday the 17th and got to Orem around 1:30pm the next day. It was awesome, the 18th was the Snow family Christmas party and we had planned to be a surprise for his mom. Again, it was awesome. The only people that knew we were coming was his aunt and uncle, grandma and grandpa snow and four of his cousins. Well, and one of his brothers... That was my bad. I accidentally spilled the beans while he was up here visiting us. Anyways! Mom cried, grandma cried and his other little brother cried. Priceless.

Someone who doesn't know me might be wondering about my family. Oh they knew we were coming, you can't surprise my family. Well, I mean you could. I guess it was a surprise when I told them I was pregnant. But that was reacted to the same way as any other news, "Oh that's good." Not exactly in those words. But surprises go one of two ways in my family, either "Meh" or "Volcano" You really don't want to be around for the volcano. So it's not that you "can't" surprise them, it's that you "don't" want to and it's "not worth" trying. In the slightest.

Back onto the subject, we were home until the 7th. We left around 5:30pm and got back to "Misery" on Saturday night. That was an adventure that neither of us want to take again. We decided not to take the I-70 route or I-80. We went through New Mexico and Oklahoma. Never again. I would have rather driven up the snow covered summit without chains than driven on the freaking turnpike. That was ridiculous and some of the directions we had, from google mind you, we completely bypassed. No clue how. I couldn't tell you if I tried lol.

About three days before we left Tony got orders saying that he was going to be deployed in January instead of late February early March. It wasn't a huge surprise, but still we learned that we would have about two months less time with each other that what we originally thought. A week before we came back to Missouri he was informed that he would be delayed three days but would still be leaving in January. Then a couple days it was moved back the three days they gave them. Oi. Never trust the military not to pull something out of their asses at the last minute. So as of now he is gone and I am left with the apartment to pack and clean and move back home. It's really not that big of a deal. Especially since I thought I would be able to move everything the day we got paid. Unfortunately this weekend is a holiday and I won't be able to move until Tuesday. So I'm bored, alone and have nothing to do lol. Meh. Hopefully I will be home next week.

Also, I apologize to my friends. I really wanted to hang out with all of you. But, I was super nauseous and trying to get a grasp on the crap I had to do once I got back here. Of course, I think the fact that I was leaving and coming back in the same month made me relax on the "I have to hang out with people! I won't see them in forever!" thoughts I was having before we found out I would be moving home sooner. But meh. I will be back soon my lovelies! I can't wait to see everyone's babies and see my babies! I'm so excited to be finally moving back home!

Oh! I had my 20 week Ultrasound. I have better pictures and I didn't find out what the baby is. So no asking! Lol. I will have everyone know that I love babies in green and purple. I do believe those are the bestest neutral colors ever. I'm not a fan of yellow... I'll even take white over yellow. But yeah. Random baby bit.

Well, I think that's about it for now. See you guys next week!
