Baby update! + First Baby Dream!

Alright, so my first OB exam was today! They also took six tubes of blood for various testing and I got my first ultrasound. I am carrying around the 10-12 week area(For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm carrying the baby low. Which according to the wives tale means it's a boy. It's complete BS, but that's the rumor. We will see.), but baby is definitely 14 weeks according to size. I have pictures, but Tony says to keep them a surprise until around Christmas. So ya'll will have to wait to see my little monster.

Baby is about 10-ish CM. I say ish, because while she was looking for the head she found the legs, she made a comment about the baby having long legs and then continued to the head. So after measuring the head she couldn't find the legs, I think the baby heard and hid them lol. The whole time baby had his hand palm towards the camera kinda looking like "You get outta mah space!" It was cute, we have four pictures and the one where you can kinda see fingers in my favorite. Tony almost cried. Damn. I was hoping one of us would have waterworks, I was just like "It's a baby!" and pointed. I was excited lol.

This part gets a little graphic... You have been warned.

So, along with that I also had my first ever pap schmear. Holy shit. Words cannot describe the awkward. The boob fondle was meh, I could care less who touches the girls. They've become immune. What was awkward was having to scoot to the edge of the table until her hand touched my cooter, then the metal speculum... the scraping wasn't unpleasant... but it was weird, didn't feel the brush thing or the q-tip. The part I had issues with was the old lady fingers probing for my uterus. O.M.G. Tony is all in the chair next to me trying not to laugh. Ass. And afterward I was like... I need an adult! The lady is like 50, maybe 60. She is really nice though and I'm going back in two weeks for my follow up with her. It was just weird.

Graphic part is over for those of you who skipped, lol.

So! On to my first baby dream.
It was short, I guess and there may be parts I don't remember but this is basically how it went.

My boy(OMG a boy!) was about 6 feet, had hair like his daddy. Well, it was long. Anyways, I don't remember his face but I had straightened his hair for some reason and I was at MV with him, then he walked off and I went into Criman's office for some reason, then River Fruits came in the room. She was about the same height as Jessie but had bright red hair like Paige. You could totally tell she was a Palmer cookie cutter baby lol. Anyways I looked at her and said "Hey River, what do you think of his hair?" and she said "Kinda looks like old pictures of my dad." Then we both laughed and I woke up.

I was weirded out for a second when I woke up, but I texted Paige and she said we should set up our kids lol. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of Swan Princess.

I also learned today that Paige is the one I can count on to tell me random stuff about pregnancy lol, stuff like the mucous plug and how "juicy" pregnancy can be. I love her to bits needless to say, I can't wait to go home and hang out with everyone!

Anyways, that's all for now. Next blog post should be a baby name list, yes lol.

Late Turkey Day

I want to keep this updated as much as possible, so this being a family holiday I thought I might as well update the family blog, lol.

So, yesterday I unfortunately had to work (Tony had the day off...), but it was holiday pay. My manager knows I need the double pay, so I love her for scheduling me. After work, Tony and I went to Salem, MO. Our old neighbors moved there about a week after we moved into our apartment, since we haven't seen them since we all moved they invited us to dinner. It was wonderful. I ate turkey first in hopes it would put tiny internal turkey to sleep. It worked and since yesterday I haven't been nauseous at all. YAY NO THROWING UP!

I am so thankful to know Fanny and Jim Shephard, they have been so awesome since we moved up here. They practically adopted us, gave us furniture, not to mention they have a four year old grandson who lives with them and he is freaking adorable.(He also has a crush on me, for cute!)

Even though we had dinner with our adopted family out here, we still miss our family back in Utah. We miss them so much and it's been hard being so far away from them. I am grateful for the support my family has been giving us both financially and emotionally. I don't know what I would have done if my mom hadn't called me all those times asking about how stuff was going. Usually it ends up with me ranting to her about how people/politics...etc. Is/are stupid, or how something has popped up and now I don't know if I can pay the "insert random bill here" on time. It's been one thing after another and I will never be able to tell my grandparents how much I appreciate them in words.

A separate gratefulness goes to my mom, for just being there all through school. Even though I regret not opening up to her as much as I probably should/could have. In one way or another she has been there giving me advice. (Even if I don't always follow/listen to it.) I love her and wouldn't be where or who I am today without her.

Tony's family, (Mom, Dad, Jeremy, and even Cameron(Grandmas and Grandpas included, even Judy... kinda.) have been awesome. They didn't hesitate to add me to their ever growing family and I am grateful for them. They let me move into their home and have my own space among them. It was an awesome experience and I loved living with them. I even miss RJ whining at my door in the middle of the night to go potty. I can't wait to go home and see them.

Alex! I loved having her here and living with us. It made it just that much more fun.

Oh my gosh, my friends. Every single one of them, (If you're on my facebook then I consider you a friend. Simple as that.) they have all helped me in a way that I could never in a hundred years describe. I love them for all their quirks and even their faults lol. A few mentions(Ok, a lot of mentions lol):

Danee Spalding~The godmother of my firstborn baby, she is beautiful and has magic boobs. She has always had the Danee quirks. Some of which I have caught on film, psychically drinking DP with her mind, sleeping on the Mac set, she has been my buddy since I was her "squishy" and I hope that never changes.

Casey Price~ Oh the things I could say, he's been a pain in my ass and one of my bestest friends. He and Danee are irreplaceable in my mind. He is random, knows how to deal with his feminine side and I know I'm going to have a good time when he's around. Sometimes he needs to get his head out of his ass and realize how many people love him(especially the ladies).

My babies~Addison, Alexis, Scott(May he rest in peace...), Jared W, Patrick, Trevor, Isaac, Gabby, Tressa, Ellie, Matt Bishop, Meagan P, Michael M, Jared F and Nate. ~Whether you were in my TA class of Drama 2 or 3 or were just an awesome Squishy before or after I graduated. I love you all and don't forget that. Phoebe love may not mean as much now that you've all grown into amazing actors/actresses and most of you have graduated, but you will always be my babies. I love how you've all grown and can't wait to see more.

Sarah Volpe~ She's in a category all her own, she was both one of my babies and my Drama 4 peer. She helped me so much through school and is one of my bestest friends. I just hope time hasn't put too much of a gap between us.

Jessie Palmer~ Also one of my babies, my Jessie Wessie! Know it all of movies and random ass facts on all things. I loves her, she's always there to be adorable and I want to keep her in my pocket. She will go on to do great things.

I kinda have to lump these four together because we all blog,
Paige Palmer, Whitney Albertson, Starrie Whittle and Megan 'Olafsson~ You guys are amazing mothers and have been amazing the entire time I've known you. You are all special to me in different ways and I am grateful to have gotten to know you both personally and through the blogging experience.

High school buddies forever~ Amanda, Tyson, Haeden, Kelly, Ginny, Sam, Kori, Michelle, Mary, Casey L, Kristen Z, ~Holy crap guys, we had good times and bad times, I am so happy I know you all. I wish you all the best! I am thankful for all of you sticking around this long. We may not talk too much, but I'm still glad you've kept me around.

I am grateful to have all these important people in my life, and they are all important to me.

Introductions

So, I'm officially starting a family blog. Since Tony and I will soon be finding out more about the baby, this is the blog I'll be putting updates and stuff.

A little bit about us ^.^

Ok, Soooo. This is me. Phoebe. I put this picture up because it kind reminds me of the glory days of high school. I said kinda. I had a thing for dying my hair red, although this time it turned bubblegum freaking pink >.<. I love acting, hanging out with my friends, singing, cooking and in case you couldn't tell. I'm kinda freaking random. I hate the snow and whiny people. Also there are two things you should know before taking pictures of me. If you want a bad one of me, then randomly take it. If you want a(still bad) semi cheesy, tell me before you take it. I am seriously not photogenic. I have pictures from before high school 'till now proving it. This is not a digg for compliments, ask Sarah Volpe about either me and makeup or me and pictures. (Just for the record, I honestly have no clue why I was giving picture taker the finger. I swear. I told you. Cheesy or bad lol.)

See what I mean? Cheesy. Anyways, this is my amazing hubby, Anthony he'll answer to pretty much anything though. (Tony, Peterson, Sexy man, hey you.) I chose this picture because it was pretty early in our going out stage. Plus I just loves his hair! But really I just think this picture is cute, Ikea on the circle bed. F.T.W. He is currently a combat engineer in the Army, he's with the 55th engineers. If you know what that means. I still don't. He is currently stationed in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri and I am here with him. We both agree that we miss Utah and I am moving back there to have his spawn lol.

So something funny, he is in the background of my picture, and my face is technically behind his in this picture. Bah, sometimes I think I'm funny... or clever... either way.

We started dating in November of 2008(After having a weird Non-Committal Make Out relationship since I broke up with my boyfriend before.) and at the same time joking about getting married. It wasn't until Cameron(Tony's little brother) asked us one day if we were serious. At the time we looked at each other and were like "Yeah, totally." Then everything just kinda worked itself out. We're usually on the same page about everything and I think that has helped us through everything. We love each others families to death and in a way we complete each other. WITH EVERYTHING. I love him to bits and would only trade him for someone else some of the time. ^.^
